It was wonderful to see students on Thursday and Friday, and they seemed happy to be back into a routine of sorts! I would also like to say THANK YOU to all the middle school families for my lovely holiday gift. I really appreciate the relaxation set, and it is already going to good use! Research Expo:

  • Prior to break, all middle school students began exploring topics that they are interested in for their Research Expo. With their RE advisor, they learned what a good research question looks like (cannot just be answered with yes or no, etc), and began to narrow down their topic and question of choice. Our objective is to teach research, writing, and presentation skills that will be necessary for their academic careers and beyond and have found this most effective when they are excited about the topic!
  • Stay tuned for more detailed information about objectives and deadlines for Research Expo.
  • Save the date March 14, 2025 at 2:00pm to see all the research presentations in person!
