Full-Time Middle School Humanities Teacher 

Reporting to the Middle School/Upper School Division Head, The Calverton School in Huntingtown, Maryland is seeking a full-time Middle School Humanities Teacher for the 2025-26 school year. This individual will be responsible for teaching both English and History to 6th and 7th grade students. This individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, assessing, and modifying as necessary a dynamic student-centered secondary school humanities program that aligns with Calverton’s mission, values, and strategic priorities. Candidate must be able to foster critical thinking and analytical skills, be creative and resourceful when developing lesson plans that actively engage students in a variety of integrated activities; and able to develop rapport with students.
