Biography
BIOGRAPHY Karrie Wood is the Business Banking Market Executive for Shore United Bank, formerly known as Community Bank of the Chesapeake. Karrie has been with the Bank for 21 years and has extensive experience and expertise working with large commercial clients, municipalities, and school systems. She oversees a team of Business Development Relationship Managers that work with clients providing them the tools needed to achieve financial success. Karrie is a graduate of Maryland Banking School and has completed multiple leadership and sales courses throughout her career. Karrie has attended College of Southern Maryland and is a 2020 graduate of the Executive Leadership Program offered through Leadership of Southern Maryland. In 2022, Karrie was a “Green Bag” appointment by Governor Hogan to the Maryland Healthcare Commission. She also serves as the current Treasurer and Membership Chair for the Charlotte Hall Rotary Club and is committed to the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. She volunteers her time to multiple fundraising events in the community and has assisted with raising funds to support Stephen’s Fund, an organization that assists children with disabilities. Karrie is the past president of Charlotte Hall Rotary Club and past board member of the Community Foundation of Southern Maryland.
